Early Career Framework

Exchange Teaching Hub delivers the golden thread of professional learning from initial teacher education, the Early Years Framework and to the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) for school leaders. Exchange Teacher Training trainees therefore enjoy the benefit of a seamless transition to the Early Career Framework (ECF), receiving a package of training and support tailored to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). This is designed to help you build the skills and knowledge you need to feel confident and empowered in your classroom.

Appropriate Body

Exchange Teaching Hub is also a registered Appropriate Body for Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) induction period, so we can continue to support you through your journey to completing the two-year induction period.

Continual Professional Development Programmes

The Hub offers a breadth of high quality continuous professional development programmes, specifically designed and shaped each year to meet the needs of schools within our region. Exchange Teaching Training alumni are informed of our professional learning offer so you will always be aware of opportunities to engage with.

National Professional Qualifications

A leadership role may be a goal on your horizon and we can support you on your journey there. Exchange Teaching Hub offers the full suite of the new National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) supporting the professional learning of teachers and school leaders at all levels of the profession. The suite includes nine programmes, based upon the best available research evidence, designed to support your career pathway.
